Introducing iQ-LAUNCHER 1.0 |
There is a growing demand for quantitative image analysis or post processing tools in medical imaging. While all standard measurements and analysis functions are available in iQ-SYSTEM PACS, there are hundreds of specific measurement needs which can't be supplied using these standard applications.
Users need simple and quick access to clinical image data and functions using specialized measurement tools. This access is often not available.
In response to this need, we have developed the iQ-LAUNCHER module as a free tool for iQ-VIEW 2.7 and above to exchange DICOM and non-DICOM data bidirectionally between iQ-VIEW and various measurement tools.
This enables iQ-VIEW to automatically open image analysis tools for orthopedic templating, cochlear implant planning, lung cancer analysis, and more, as well as image processing tools such as Windows Paint, Adobe® Photoshop® and many others.

- Multiple image analysis plugins in a single iQ-VIEW station
- Export the currently active image (image in the viewer), all images of the series to which the currently active image belongs, or all images of the same study as the active one

Veterinarians need imaging tools that will work for them, rather than having to find workarounds for human imaging products, as most vets are faced with on a daily basis.
Therefore, we are extremely proud to release VET-VIEW 2.7 - an easy-to-use reading station specialized for veterinarians. It offers a veterinary tailored user interface, embedded information and tools that are essential for simplifying the veterinary workflow. VET-VIEW 2.7 contains all the functionalities that are featured in iQ-VIEW 2.7 (hence the same version number), BUT there are several vet-specific additions, such as:
- Veterinary text overlay
- Norberg angle measurement
- Lists containing veterinary body parts and image views
- Import of additional veterinary DICOM information, e.g. studbook, breed, species or owner information, sex/neutered and more.
VET-VIEW is available in the BASIC or PRO version. The BASIC version includes all required features for viewing and reading while the PRO version offers professional tools for reading specialists such as presentation states and individually customizable Hanging Protocols. Hanging Protocols for instance, make it easy to view pre-purchase examinations of horses for facilities dealing with equine patients.
