Diagnostica Nobiliore is a diagnostic imaging center located in the city of Rome, Italy. It was founded in 1983 and has offered state-of-the-art outpatient imaging services, as well as medical examinations and checkups, ever since.

In 2011, Diagnostica Nobiliore began looking for a new PACS solution that would perfectly integrate with their existing HIS (SAP Business One) and their image analysis software Merge eFilm. Their old PACS – besides of being technologically outdated - was only partially integrated with SAP and was further lacking a web browser. Needless to say, it was time to implement a more modern and fast PACS that included a web viewer for greater flexibility.

IMAGE’s local sales partner, SAINTEC – specialists in the field of healthcare related SAP projects – accepted the challenge of integrating the center’s SAP Business One ERP solution with the state-of-the-art PACS iQ-WEBX.

Now, the Diagnostica Nobiliore imaging center is able to utilize a completely integrated PACS with all patient-related medical images accessible from the HIS. In addition to the iQ-WEBX PACS, iQ-WORKLIST will be implemented soon to create DICOM worklists, thus accelerating the modality workflow even further.

Diagnostica Nobiliore is thrilled to have found a beneficial and reliable PACS for a small investment. The fact that iQ-WEBX uses a MySQL database is an added bonus since it means there are no extra license costs. All in all, they see iQ-WEBX as an affordable and professional PACS that allows small diagnostic centers to provide high-level services.
