Installation

Before you upgrade the iQ-ROBOT version of your customers, you should uninstall the license key and request a replacement license. To upgrade iQ-ROBOT, simply uninstall the old version and install the new one.

Follow these steps to do the complete upgrade:

1. Start iQ-ROBOT 1.01/1.02

2. Go to the Options menu (Right-click on iQ-ROBOT tray icon -> Options)

3. Change to the License page

4. Click “Uninstall”

5. During the “Uninstall”, a text file is created in the iQ-ROBOT installation directory, called “uninstall_YYYYMMDDhhmmss.txt”. This file contains an uninstall key verifying that the license has been uninstalled successfully. Copy this file to the desktop.

6. Uninstall iQ-ROBOT 1.01/1.02

7. Install iQ-ROBOT 2.0

8. Start iQ-ROBOT in order to get a new Hardware Fingerprint

9. Send the “uninstall” file without any modification together with the Hardware Fingerprint of the new iQ-ROBOT installation by email to license@image-systems.biz. Also mention the version number of the software.
