First, make sure that the 'Preferred transfer syntax' is set to an uncompressed syntax in the 'Options' dialog. DICOMReader will then perform an automatic decompression of all supported compressed transfer syntaxes before transferring the data to the destination.

If you still have problems viewing the images, send the name and version of your viewer, as well as some anonymized sample files, to your local distributor.
