Medicina Diagnostica (Medidiag) provides radiological imaging services for the police hospital of Bogotà in Colombia.

Sr. Enrique Puentes, the head of Medicina Diagnostica, had decided on using EasyPACS because, as he says himself, it was "the best on the market". But also the "good price" and the flexibility convinced him of IMAGE Information Systems and EasyPACS. Sr. Puentes appreciates the good service and our willingness to make product modifications which directly correspond to the wishes of our customer and, thus, aspiring to exactly fit the project as Medicina Diagnostic had invisioned it. 

In 2004, Medidiag started off with EasyPACS softcopy reading of CT and MRI studies, with burning medical CDs and printing out studies on normal paper. Now, after 15 months of routine work the system has proved to be remarkably easy, very stable and reliable. 

With the help of EasyPACS, Medidiag is capable of accelerating its workflow and improving the communication with referring physicians due to a better image documentation on normal paper and on medical CD-ROMs. At the same time Medidiag is able to save money by using EasyPACS. As their needs may grow in the future, Medicina Diagnostica is planning on implementing additional EasyPACS features to expand the availability of medical images.
