The DICOMReader 3.5 is a software tool that scans any removable data carrier (e.g. CD-ROM) inserted into your computer automatically for images. All contained files will be checked, DICOM images will be analyzed and if necessary converted. Afterwards valid DICOM images will be transmitted via DICOM STORE to your viewer or PACS.

The DICOMReader 3.5 is a DICOM 3.0 compliant software application that acts as a DICOM service class user (SCU) and runs on all modern Windows platforms. It allows parallel processing (multi-threading) of multiple media at the same time as well  as adaptation of external data to your local range of patient ID and accession numbers.

The DICOMReader 3.5 comes in two different versions, a BASIC and a PRO version. The PRO version offers several additional features. An evaluation version of DICOMReader/ PRO 3.5 is available for download and will run as PRO for 30 days after the installation and afterwards turns into the basic mode for 60 days.
