Does iQ-VIEW / PRO work on a tablet PC? |
Installation
Yes, iQ-VIEW / PRO does work on a tablet PC. However, the application needs to be activated (only possible after purchase) because iQ-VIEW / PRO will run on a tablet PC only as a full license. Thus, at the moment, it is not possible to use an evaluation (trial) version of iQ-VIEW / PRO on a tablet PC. After regularly installing the application on a tablet PC it will hang at the 'Enter Key' dialog. To activate the license, you need to start the computer in the safe mode and then enter the activation data, which have to be requested from IMAGE Information Systems. Afterwards the application can be started. Return to the normal mode and iQ-VIEW / PRO will run regularly. |

Is it possible to send 3D rendered images back to PACS / iQ-VIEW for storage? |
Features & Functions
Yes, of course. A snapshot function is integrated in iQ-3D that allows the user to make secondary capture images. It is possible to either take snapshots of individual images or to create rotated sequences. Afterwards you may save those secondary capture images to iQ-VIEW's local database, export them as image files or send them to a DICOM node, that is predefined in your DICOM settings. Detailed information on how to make secondary capture images are given in the iQ-3D manual. |

Why do I always get an error message when starting the iQ-3D application? |
Features & Functions
In most cases the problem is an incompatible graphics card. A graphics card used with iQ-3D needs to support OpenGL for faster 3D processing. 3D texturing, speed and BUS width are crucial. iQ-3D works with the available memory capacity of the graphics card. The higher the memory capacity, the more information can be read and used for the creation of a VRT, SSD or MIP image. A graphics card should therefore have at least 512 MB RAM for clearer images. Also the BUS width should be pretty high to secure a fast data transmission to the processor. |

iQ-3D is running choppily? |
Features & Functions
Why is iQ-3D running very choppily on my computer and what can I do to run the software optimal functionality? It is possible that there is an incompatibility of iQ-3D with the graphics card installed on your computer. iQ-3D is optimized for nVidia 3D graphics cards, e.g. 6800, 7800/7900 series or higher, and ATI X1800 graphics cards. Please check the system requirements for iQ-3D on our website. |
