Connect it to any DICOM Laser Imager or normal paper printer. Its user interface is powerful and very intuitive: It allows you to switch between different printers, to select several paper formats as well as between portrait or landscape orientation. Image output and layout can be predefined. Series, individual images or marked groups can be printed with or without text overlays and page headers. Also complex imaging features, like easy zooming, panning, windowing, levelling, moving and deleting of images, are integrated. |

Yes. There is a DICOM print client integrated in all iQ VIEW applications. You may connect any DICOM printer, e.g. from FUJI, KONICA, KODAK or AGFA. |

What is the function of the Modality Worklist Client that is implemented into iQ-VIEW PRO? |

The modality worklist client can request a RIS/HIS or receive from a HIS/RIS worklists for studies/examinations. The worklist contains demographic data (exact patient names, birthday etc.), match data (link between other information systems and a PACS) and procedure data (what kind of examination/procedure is planned). There are several needs for that:
1. You use iQ-VIEW PRO as a professional scanning station and receive your patient list from a RIS.
2. You use it as a professional capture station and receive your worklist.
3. You use it as a professional CD reading station and receive your worklist. The worklist avoids typing mistakes, accelerates the workflow (by avoiding typing data twice) and matches exactly RIS/HIS -> PACS datasets. |

Handling of large databases? |

I want to install iQ-VIEW PRO on a Dell server for a small client. The server will have about 1 terabyte of raid 5. Can iQ-VIEW PRO handle a database that size if I reached the 1 terabyte image and db limits? iQ-VIEW can not handle this database size yet. A version with such features is in preparation. Currently, you could use a local conquest server including a database of your choice and display the images directly using iQ-VIEW! |
